The move to the U.S. proved fruitful as he would play for Duke for one year and was the 7th overall pick in 2004 by the Chicago Bulls. Deng would slowly become one of the star players for Chicago, and in the two seasons that he was an All-Star, he also led the NBA in Minutes played per Game.
With the Bulls, Deng would have multiple 14 PPG seasons with respectable defense. He would finish his career with stints in Cleveland, Miami, Los Angeles (Lakers), and Minnesota.
