Siebert was not a Pitcher when he was signed but was converted into a Pitcher. Six years after he was signed as an Amateur Free Agent, he made the Indians' roster, and a year after, he was a crucial part of their starting rotation. Siebert went 16-8 in 1965 and had the same record in 1966, though he would add an All-Star Game appearance to his resume that year. Siebert's record was not as good in the two years after, but his other stats were still good, and he was still a top pitcher in the American League.
His stay in Cleveland came to an end when he was dealt to Boston during the 1969 campaign. Siebert’s overall Indians run saw a 61-48 record with 786 Strikeouts.
