The Outfielder would go to three All-Star Games (1977, 1979 & 1981), and had four straight 20 Home Run seasons (1977-80) peaking at 35 in 1979. That season, he finished second in MVP voting and was third for that award in 1981. Singleton had an excellent batting eye, as he had three .300 seasons and had over .400 in On Base Percentage four times. As an Oriole, Singleton was in the top ten in OBP eight times, in OPS six times, and was second in Walks four times. He aided Baltimore to win the World Series in 1983, which would be his penultimate season as he retired after 1984.
With the Orioles, Singleton would have 1,455 Hits, 182 Home Runs, and a Slash Line of .284/.388/.445. He was inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame in 1986.
