For a time, “The Bull”, Danny Tartabull was one of the more feared power hitters in the sport.  The New York Yankees certainly thought so when they signed him from the Kansas City Royals where he was coming off his best season, but he never did duplicate that production in the Bronx (though he did get a Seinfeld episode out of it).

Still, this is a list about the greatest Kansas City Royals, and in Kansas City Tartabull had four 25 Home Run seasons with three 100 RBI seasons.  In his lone All-Star season, Tartabull was especially efficient with a 31 Home Run season with a Slash Line of .316/.397/593, the latter stat being good enough to be a league leading.  He would finish 12th in American League MVP voting that year.

With the Royals, Tartabull smacked 124 Home Runs with 674 Hits and a Batting Average of .290.
