Many of the people reading this might think of Miguel Perez as a member of Los Boricuas, Savio Vega’s militant Puerto Rican group from the Attitude Era. While Miguel Perez Jr. was a very good wrestler who probably deserved a better opportunity in the United States than he did get, but he was the son of a major star form decades previous.
The Puerto Rican was a stalwart in New York for many years, winning tag team championships there and performing often for the WWWF at Madison Square Garden multiple times. Perez was a large part of drawing Hispanic fans to wrestling’s Mecca and with the WWE looking to expand that demographic, it is possible to see them induct someone like Perez.
