Form many years, Willie Gilzenberg was the President of the World Wide Wrestling Federation, but this was not a “figurehead” President like Jack Tunney was in the 80’s and 90’s. This guy really was the President!

Gilzenberg would help Vince McMahon Sr. expand into the New York City area, with his contacts and political skills were a vital reason for the northern expansion and conquest of America’s largest market. It is not inconceivable to say that the WWE might not exist without Willie Gilzenberg.

The Bullet Points

Why they will get in: He sincerely did have a significant impact in the early days of the WWWF.
Why they won't get in: Does anyone know who he is that is under the age of 40? Hell, does anyone under 60 know his name?
