One of the few wrestling personalities who can legitimately say that he had equal success as a wrestler and as a manager, Wild Red Berry infuriated audiences for more than four decades.

As a wrestler he was a staple of the Light Heavyweight scene, winning the championship nine times and putting on classic encounters with Danny McShain and Billy Varga in the process. As successful as he was in the ring, he was better known outside of it as a heel manager with a stable of top wrestlers (including Gorilla Monsoon), and did so in the WWWF in the 60’s thus giving him a link to the organization. The man with the jacket with “I am Right” emblazoned on the back would be a great early manager for the WWE Hall and would also provide a nice homage to great Light Heavyweights in the early days.
