Though some of labeled Blondie nothing more than a Disco and/or New Wave band, they were incredibly versatile and they had an incredible range.  The technically proficient band was propelled by the looks of their lead singing siren, Debbie Harry and though she got them attention, their skills kept them in the spotlight.

In the case of Blondie, I guess there's no point in voting "Kick this artist out!", because it won't change anything.... In my opinion, Blondie have two great songs: "Heart Of Glass" and "Raptur e". Both are incredibly groovy, and I've always liked those two songs. And yes, Debbie Harry is a great frontwoman. But the rest of their stuff does nothing for me. I don't hear anything "ground breaking&quo t; about Blondie. But hey, they got voted in, so what do I know? I don't think it's the end of the world that Blondie got inducted into the Rock Hall, but this is one induction that I definitely question.

Arguably the most versatile group in rock histroy, Debbie harry and the boys touched on and introduced many to reggae, rap, punk and new wave as well as old fashioned rock. They faded quyickly due to extraordinar y cricumstance s beyond their control but their impact (and popularity) can not be questioned.
