Pop-Punk. Emo. Post-Hardcore. Like most American bands, there are multiple labels that you can slap on Fall Out Boy, and while this is a band that has numerous detractors, the Pete Wnetz led group also has to be called very successful.

As such, the chances of Fall Out Boy rely on how the genre of Emo as a whole will be perceived. If it is thought of in a positive light, this is a band that will be hard to ignore for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
