Regular visitors to notinhalloffame.com know that we are slowly working on the top 50 of every major team in the NHL, NBA, NFL, and MLB. Once that is done, we will examine how each team honors its past players, coaches, and executives. We will eventually do the same for major NCAA schools. As such, it is important to us that Fresno State has announced that they will induct Logan Mankins into their Ring of Honor.
The former Offensive Lineman will receive this honor during the Bulldogs’ home game against Boise State.
Mankins would start all 40 of his games in Fresno where he was a First Team All-WAC Selection in 2004. His senior year was so strong that it vaulted his draft stock to where the New England Patriots chose him with the 32nd overall pick. Professionally, Mankins would become a one-time First Team All-Pro and earn seven Pro Bowls.
