gold star for USAHOF

42. Robert Lang

42. Robert Lang

Robert Lang played four seasons with the Los Angeles Kings, and he would sign with the Pittsburgh Penguins as a Free Agent before the 1997-98 season.

His begin with the Pens was a little strange, as he was waived, claimed by Boston (where he played three Games) and was waived again, where he was reclaimed by Pittsburgh.  He would only score 22 Points in 51 Games for Pittsburgh in 1997-98, but he would double that the year after.

In the next two seasons, Lang would find his offensive form, scoring 65 Points in 1999-00, and would put forth a personal best of 80 Points in 2000-01, and helped them reach the Eastern Conference Finals.  He played one more year with the Penguins (50 Points), and would sign with the Washington Capitals as a Free Agent after.

As a Penguin, he scored 261 Points with a Points per Game Average of .76.
