Keith Primeau had already played for Team Canada in both the World Cup and Olympics and he had already long established himself in Detroit and Carolina and he was dealt to the Flyers in 2000 after holding out due to contract issues with the Hurricanes. Primeau would go on to tie his previous high of 73 Points in the 2000-01 season and would receive a few votes (finishing 23
rd overall) for the Hart Trophy. Three years later he would be named an All Star and he finished 6
th in Frank J. Selke Trophy. Sadly for Primeau concussion issues would force him to prematurely retire after the 2005-06 season, but he retired with 213 Points in 312 Games for Philadelphia.
