8. Zach Parise

Zach Parise was taken with the 17thOverall Pick in 2003, and the American Left Wing would debut for the New Jersey Devils two years later.

Parise brought a scoring touch to the Devils, accruing 60-plus Points in 2006-07 and 2007-08, and grew that total to 94 in 2008-09.  That would be his best year for the Devils, where he was an All-Star Game participant, Second Team All-Star, and he was third in Lady Byng voting, eighth in Selke voting, and fifth for the Hart.  Parise had 82 Points the year after, but a torn meniscus held him to only 13 Games in 2010-11.  He played one more year in New Jersey, where he had a 69 Point campaign.

Parise would sign with his hometown team when he joined the Minnesota Wild as a Free Agent in 2012.  As a Devil, Parise scored 410 Points with a .82 PPG.
