23. Blair MacDonald

Blair MacDonald made his pro debut with the Edmonton Oilers in the 1973-74 Season where he had 45 points in his rookie season.  He would exceed by one point as a sophomore, but the Oilers traded him the Indianapolis, though that stay in Indiana would be short-lived.

The Forward would be traded back to Edmonton before the 1977-78 Season and had a 68 Point return, followed by a 71 Point Season, where he would be placed on a line with Wayne Gretzky, who was traded early in 1978-79 by the Racers.  That year, MacDonald would be named a Second Team All-Star in what would be the last year of the existence of the World Hockey Association.

In the first season after the WHA/NHL merger, MacDonald was still on a line with Gretzky, and he was able to parlay that into a 94 Point Season that saw him finish 10th in the NHL.  He was also an NHL All-Star that year.  His run in Edmonton ended the following season when the Vancouver Canucks in March of 1981.

Overall as an Oiler, MacDonald scored 379 Points over 470 Games.
