45. Marty Barry

After six quality years in Boston, Marty Barry was traded to Detroit in 1935, where he played for four years, which was arguably the period that gained him his greatest success.

Barry matched his previous high of 40 Points in his first year in Detroit as he centered a line with Larry Aurie and Herbie Lewis.  The Red Wings won the Stanley Cup that year, with Barry playing a large part in the title.  The year after, Barry had his best year in Hockey, setting highs in Points (44), winning the Lady Byng, and securing a First Team All-Star Selection.  Barry carried that success into the playoffs, leading Detroit to a second Stanley Cup, where he had two Goals, including the game-winner in the clinching game.  He played two more years in Detroit before closing his career in Montreal.

Barry entered the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1964.
