Korab was able to do more two-way hockey when he joined Buffalo, and in his first full year in Buffalo, he scored 56 Points. Nicknamed “King King," Korab never shied away from the physical game when needed, and he protected deep behind the blue line as well as anyone. Korab had five consecutive seasons where he had at least 40 Points (1974-75 to 1978-79), and he was an All-Star in 1975 and 1976.
Traded to Los Angeles in 1980, Korab returned to the Sabres in 1983 to finish his career. Korab had 283 Points in 537 Games for Buffalo, and the Sabres chose him for their Hall of Fame in 2001.
