Beliveau was not just a spectacular player on the ice; he was class act off of it. He was great to his fans, helped out his teammates, and was a consummate professional in every capacity. He was the type of player that a “Hockey Dad” would want his son to look up too. Beliveau was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame shortly after he retired; as the Hall waived the three year wait for him.
