The nine-time All-Star cracked the 100 point mark on three occasions for the Chicago Black Hawks and became known throughout the NHL for his intense and feisty play. Roenick would play for five teams in his professional career, but regardless of the city, he was instantly a fan favorite as his style of play won over many crowds. With over 1,200 career points, he would not be out of place in the Hall, but without a Ring, a Gold Medal, or a season where he was a serious Hart contender under his belt, the case against him exists. Still, there are many players in the Hall with careers similar to Jeremy Roenick.

I don't know about him being more deserving than a lot of the guys on the list (though I'm replying to a comment that is 3 years old). He is a less than a point per game player in an era where scoring wasn't down. He never won any major awards that I can find, nor did he win a cup. I also didn't see a mention of all-start teams or the like. It's possible I missed something, as I am not familiar with the player. I don't think he deserves to be in the HoF, though.
