Somehow, Ed Litzenberger has not been remembered for his accomplishments in hockey despite having a resume chock-full of accomplishments. Traded from the loaded (or gifted, depending on your point of view) Montreal Canadiens in his rookie season, Litzenberger would win the Calder Trophy as the NHL’s top rookie.

A year after winning the Calder, Litzenberger went on a three-season streak of 30 or more Goals, where he would finish in the top four in that metric each season. Within this streak was a Second Team All-Star Selection and a sixth-place finish in Hart Trophy voting. His offensive potency would decline shortly after, but he would become the Blackhawks' Captain, and he would take them to a Stanley Cup win in 1961. He was traded to the Maple Leafs. Although he wasn’t the same scorer, he brought a winning attitude to the Buds and helped them win three straight Stanley Cups (1962-64), meaning he would win four in a row.
