Here is a bit of irony.

Quoting Bobby Heenan who used this line with Rude when he kissed a fan...."I think we have another winner".

Demolition is perfect!

We should probably make our class predictions now before they start announcing inductees. I feel like the answer to this years Hall of Fame class can be found within these 30 potential inductees.

The Undertaker, Sting, Dwayne the Rock Johnson, Macho Man Randy Savage, Christian, Diesel, Lex Luger, Ray the Crippler Stevens, John Bradshaw Layfield, Ivan Koloff, Demolition, Miss Elizabeth, Brutus the Barber Beefcake, Rikishi, Big Van Vader, Kamala, Cyndi Lauper, Andy Kaufman, Bob Barker, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Diamond Dallas Page, The Great Khali, Jim the Anvil Neidhart, Mike Rotundo, Sable, Alundra Blayze, Hillbilly Jim, the Nasty Boys, the Godfather, Teddy Long and Vickie Guerrero.

Worst case scenario class (low hanging fruit like 2011)

Sting
Vickie Guerrero
Christian
The Nasty Boys
Diamond Dallas Page
Rikishi
Arnold Schwarzenegger

Best case scenario

Dwayne the Rock Johnson
Macho Man Randy Savage
Big Van Vader
Ray the Crippler Stevens
Cyndi Lauper
Demolition Ax and Smash
The Russian Bear Ivan Koloff

What we'll probably end up with is a combination

Sting
Macho Man Randy Savage
Christian
Ray the Crippler Stevens
Demolition
Rikishi
Arnold Schwarzenegger

There are others I want to see get inducted but I just don't think they're on the table this year.

EDIT: Though I do wonder if they might just go with Savage as the headliner. They don't usually like to end on a note of death but for Savage they could make the exception. If they go with Savage as the headliner, Sting probably won't go in.

Macho Man Randy Savage (inducted by Hulk Hogan)
Christian (inducted by Edge)
Ray the Crippler Stevens (inducted by Pat Patterson)
Demolition (inducted by.... Road Warrior Animal? Mr Fuji? )
The Russian Bear Ivan Koloff (inducted by Nikita Koloff or Bruno Sammartino)
Rikishi (inducted by the Usos)
Arnold Schwarzenegger (inducted by...Jesse Ventura or Triple H)

I don't know if they'd consider Christian a strong enough co-headliner. I'd pick Diesel but he just recently got arrested for an altercation with his son and was pulled from an upcoming RAW. So I don't know if they'd overlook his troubles to still induct him this year.

As for the Undertaker, if they're going to Dallas next year then I would be surprised if they didn't want Taker to headline that class. Sure he was billed from Death Valley, but Texas is his backyard.

I think that would be a great lineup.

Why not Schwrazenegger right?

Save Sting if he is wrestling (which looks like he might against Triple H) and same with taker for Dallas.

Arnold would be a decent draw, he respects the WWE product and he is a Californian'

Christian is not a strong co-headliner, but i think he has a bit of credo for the Hall.

Two issues though....

1. They always want to induct a female....even though Lita was ten years to early last year IMO, but that is their pattern.

2. They always have a minority. Does Rikishi as a Samoan qualify? I guess it would.

Rikishi counts. I included him because he was raised in northern California. A minority is mandatory. They won't have a class without at least one. My issue with Rikishi is that he's low hanging fruit and it would be jumping ahead of Vader, Bundy, Gang, Kamala, Calhoun, Bigelow, Earthquake and so on.

A female isn't always necessary for them though.

1993
1994
1995 The Fabulous Moolah
1996
2004
2005
2006 Sensational Sherri
2007
2008 Mae Young
2009
2010 Wendi Richter
2011 Sunny
2012
2013 Trish Stratus
2014 Lita

I figure it's more likely that the celebrity will be from California like Arnold or Barker. So my hopes for Cyndi Lauper aren't too high. That said, when is the next time they'll be in New York? She has to go in at some point and it probably won't be New York.

The problem with the rest of the possible female inductions like Alundra Blayze or Sable is that they'd be under the cloud of Miss Elizabeth. If Savage and Stevens are going in this year, WWE probably won't add a third posthumous induction. Plus it might be awkward for her family if she was inducted in the same class as Savage. So I'm not convinced it'll happen for her this round. Yet the fans might easily start chanting her name over the likes of Sable. Does WWE risk it?

They might also induct Diesel too. When I posted the other day, I refrained from adding him to the class because of his legal issues and being suspended from his legends contract. But that's all resolved now. I'm sure they want to induct him as a singles competitor before they induct the NWO.

I like Diesel as an inductee....far better than the NWO idea.... I HATE THAT IDEA, but they keep talking about it don't they?

Agree with you that there is no chance that they would put in Elizabeth...especially if Ray Stevens goes in.

Three dead people? No way.

I wonder if Sable is part of the deal with Brock...as in part of him coming back is to get her inducted.

I remember reading a couple of times that Brock lobbied for that.

Sable probably doesn't even need Brock to lobby for her induction. It's inevitable.

BTW, it was just announced today that Mania 32 will be in Dallas. You can already see the candidates for that class lining up with Undertaker, Sting, John Bradshaw Layfield, Mark Henry, Lord Alfred Hayes, Paul Boesch, Dick Murdoch, Stan Hansen, The Fabulous Freebirds, Chuck Norris, Slick, Bruiser Brody, The One Man Gang, Lawrence Taylor, Diamond Dallas Page, Kamala, Ravishing Rick Rude, Chief Wahoo McDaniel, etc

Well said.

So, when do we get started on our 2015 revisions?

I'm ready to continue to the next step of the revisions. Were we wanting to set up a skype chat, just continue here, or what? Whichever is the most efficient way of handling our ideas.

Let's do it over Skype chat.

Though should we wait to see who they induct next, or do you just want to revise based on what we have already?

For example, we can rank Ray Stevens but remove him if he gets in accordingly and have like a 301, 302 etc.

What do you think?
