A phone call could work. Not sure how long it would take though. Maybe a chat room discussion would suffice on Windows messenger or AIM. Unless this board is capable of hosting a generic chat room feature?
Oh.... i am also thinking of establishing an automatic age for transferring from Future to Current on the list.
Usually we go by whether it looks like they are not going to come back for any major WWE run and not an age, but i am looking specifically at Kane, who is 46 and yes is still wrestling often, but he probably shouldn't be anymore or at least for much longer.
The problem with Owen Hart is that it's not WWE that is holding back on his induction. I feel like someone like Ravishing Rick Rude would be a bit more fair. If that makes sense.
So would 45 work as the age threshold? It would help explain Goldust being on the list. He's 45. Batista turns 46 in January. Kurt Angle is 46. A year from now guys like Chris Jericho, Mark Henry, and Rob Van Dam would automatically make the list.
Over the years I've heard just as many people talk about Rude not being in the Hall as Owen talk. The Owen conversations just drag on longer because people usually have to explain about his widow and her wishes. Where as with Rude, there's a bit more more mystery behind why WWE hasn't inducted him yet. Plus I'd have to say Rude achieved more in the business. Not to mention visually he's probably more interesting for a banner.
Another option might be Demolition (Ax and Smash). For a banner, they'd be either very recognizable or at the very least might peak peoples interest due to their unusual look. For what they accomplished in WWE, they probably should have been in years ago. In fact, while I'm typing I'm thinking they might be the best route to go. You might even get an interview with one of them.
