The 2019 WWE Legacy Award recipients revealed

5 years 1 week ago - 5 years 1 week ago #1171 by Dr Clayton Forrester
The promotional material at WWE Axxess has revealed the Legacy class.

Jim Barnett
Bruiser Brody
Primo Carnera
Joseph Cohen
Luna Vachon
Playboy Buddy Rose
Professor Toru Tanaka
Chief Wahoo McDaniel
Special Delivery Jones
Hisashi Shinma

Two of these guys are still alive.

Luna Vachon going in this way is rather sad and also means the legacy wing can tap into any dead person from any era now.  Hell, they can tap into any living person from any era now.

It's weird that guys like the Sheik and Eddie Graham got regular inductions but Wahoo and Brody are going in this way.

Cohen and Carnera will need bios but the rest were ranked.

I'm glad to see guys like Professor Toru Tanaka and Playboy Buddy Rose being recognized though.

The only think i can think of is that since they are all dead... they are "legacy"

WOuld have liked to have seen Brody get a full stage though

Hisashi Shinma and Joseph Cohen are not dead though.

Between that and Luna's induction, they could potentially throw Kamala or the Brooklyn Brawler in there next year.

Hmmmm.

Well, with Kamala he is part of that concussion lawsuit. Anyone on that is not anybody they are going to acknowledge right now.

The concussion lawsuit was dismissed last year. Kamala, other than being wheelchair bound, needs dialysis three times a week. So his traveling days are over. So I hope WWE move on sooner rather than later.

In other news, Joseph Cohen showed up at the ceremony last night. He's the first Legacy recipient to do so.
