39. Mark Bavaro

The New York Giants were one of the best teams in the NFC in the late 1980s, and Mark Bavaro was their Tight End during their best period.

Bavaro was the 100thOverall Pick of the 1985 Draft, and he was a starting rookie at Tight End.  Bavaro’s second season saw the TE go one yard over 1,000, and it would mark his first Pro Bowl and First Team All-Pro.  Bavaro would help take the Giants to their Super Bowl XXI win, and the following year he would repeat as a Pro Bowl and First Team All-Pro.

The Tight End aided the Giants in a second Super Bowl win, though ailments piled up on Bavaro.  He would sit out the 1991 Season due to injury, and after he was cut, he joined the Giants in 1991.

With New York, Bavaro managed 3,722 Yards with 28 Touchdowns, and was inducted into the Giants RIng of Honor in 2011.
