40. Justin Tuck

There were pro teams that were afraid that Justin Tuck's knee injury would make the Notre Dame player a risky draft pick.  As such, he fell to the Third Round, where the New York Giants were more than happy to take him.

Tuck was a backup in his first three seasons, as the Giants had Michael Strahan and Usi Umenyiora at Defensive End, and even though he only had two starts in 2007 (his third year), he had 10.0 Sacks.  That year, Tuck was a tremendous force in the playoffs, especially in the Super Bowl, where he had two Sacks and a Forced Fumble in their win over New England.  There were some who thought it should have been Tuck to win the Super Bowl MVP instead of their Quarterback, Eli Manning.

Tuck went from backup to starter with the retirement of Strahan, and in his first year in that role, he was a First Team All-Pro with 12 Sacks.  Again, a Pro Bowl Selection in 2010 with an 11.5 Sack performance, the Giants again advanced to the Super Bowl for the 2011 season.  Tuck repeated his two-Sack performance, and the Giants won the Super Bowl, with Manning once more edging Tuck for the MVP of the game.

He signed with the Oakland Raiders in 2014, leaving New York with 60.5 Sacks, 451 Tackles, and 88 Tackles for Loss.  The Giants broiught Tuck back into the fold in 2016, when they enshrined him into their Ring of Honrr.
