48. Ernie Wright

Ernie Wright was an original member of the Los Angeles Chargers when they were an inaugural member of the American Football League in 1960, and the Ohio State Buckeye made the most of the opportunity.

Wright won the starting Left Tackle job as a rookie, and in the seasons that followed, he would be named an AFL All-Star in alternating seasons (1961, 1963 & 1965) with an AFL Championship (1963) sandwiched in between.  Wright played for the Chargers for his first eight seasons, moving to Cincinnati for their first year in 1968, where he stayed until he came back for a final pro football campaign in 1972.

Wright was one of 20 players who played in all ten years of the American Football League.
