42. Quentin Jammer

In the 2002 NFL Draft, Quentin Jammer had the honor of being the highest drafted Defensive Back when the San Diego Chargers chose the Texas Longhorn Fifth Overall.

While there were players who became more prominent stars, who were chosen after Jammer (Ed Reed, for example), the Chargers got a lot of the Cornerback.  Jammer was an All-Rookie, and he would play most of his Chargers career at starting at Left Cornerback.  Jammer played 172 Games for San Diego, starting in 161 of them while securing 21 Interceptions and 721 Combined Tackles.

Jammer might never have been named to the Pro Bowl, but his overall production was reliable over his career, thus earning a place on this list.
