This one has to be a little bit tough for Colts fans.
Marshall Faulk would leave Indianapolis and accumulate additional statistics to earn a place in Canton and a Super Bowl Ring on his finger, but it was in Indianapolis where he played his first five professional seasons.
As a Colt, Faulk was the second overall draft pick in 1994 and was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year. Faulk had ups and downs due to injury but still tallied over 8,000 Yards from Scrimmage in five years in Indy. Faulk would be controversially traded and joined what would be “The Greatest Show on Turf” in St. Louis but his accomplishments as a member of the Indianapolis Colts cannot be (nor should they be) ignored.
Still, don’t you think they wish they could get a do-over on that trade?
Faulk entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2011, and the Colts Ring of Honor in 2013.
