After the Cincinnati Bengals used their Fourth Round Pick in 1977 on Georgia’s Mike Wilson, the Offensive Lineman elected instead to sign with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League.  He only played one year there, where he was an AFL All-Star before joining the Bengals in 1978.

Wilson was Cincinnati's starting Left Tackle in his first two years, and he would move to Right Tackle in 1980.  Wilson helped Cincinnati win the AFC Championship in 1981 (though they lost to San Francisco), and he had four seasons wearing the tiger stripes where had at least 10 in Approximate Value.

Wilson joined the Seattle Seahawks in 1986, and as a Bengal, he started all but two of his 114 Games.
