27. Calvin Johnson
When Calvin Johnson retired, many Detroit Lions fans pointed at former Running Back, Barry Sanders who retired at the top of his game.  Did “Megatron” retire too soon to make the Pro Football Hall of Fame?  We will find out soon, but we know a lot about Johnson for what he did accomplish.

We know that Calvin Johnson made the Lions a must watch team, regardless of what support he did or did not have.  Johnson would lead everyone in the NFL in Receiving Yards twice, while exceeding 1,000 Yards seven times.  The incredible athlete would be named a First Team All Pro three times and a Pro Bowler six times.  This was a player who caught passes that shouldn’t be caught, and did so on a regular basis.

The question that will be asked by the Pro Football Hall of Fame committee is did Calvin Johnson play the game long enough.
