Performed by Actor/Comedian Lou Jacobi, Al Tijuana And His Jewish Brass were a parody of Herb Alpert (who is Jewish) and the Tijuana Brass who were not Hispanic. Jacobi merges Hebrew music with over the top caricatures and with a little bit of Alpert’s own sensibility. We aren’t sure how well this album aged, but look up Jacobi’s overall body of work as it is really quite good.
