What we know about Princess Leia’s role in The Blues Brothers is that she was at some time engaged to "Joliet" Jake Blues, which would make them the most charismatic couple of 1980. Actually, maybe of all time. For reasons unknown, Jake left her at the altar, and she would later shoot many bullets at him.
