We wonder if many of the fans of W.K.R.P. in Cincinnati were hoping that they would see a parallel in Throb going from a dysfunctional radio station to a dysfunctional record label but other than the music industry there was not a whole lot similar.
That wonderment aside, we have Jonathan Prince, played by Zachary Thomas, whose diminutive stature and look should have prevented him from playing anything other than the nerdy friend. Prince is the owner of Throb, a struggling New Wave label, though maybe that was the problem as New Wave was on the outs when this show started.
