We kind of dig young entrepreneurs here at the Fictitious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which is what we have here with Ivan Alexeev (John Cusack) and Josh Tager (Tim Robbins). The pair started their own music video production company after losing their jobs as security guards. They meet their childhood heroes, Swanky Modes, and come up with a scheme to get the former 70's soul stars big again by hijacking a Menudo concert and having them perform in their place through a satellite hookup.
