On the Smackdown after Edge announced his retirement from wrestling, the crowd spontaneously chanted “Hall of Fame”. To us, this was the defining moment that told us that the WWE fans had completely embraced the concept of a WWE Hall of Fame and wanted to see closure for the stars they came to know and love. For this initial chant to be bestowed upon Edge was appropriate as the man held every title worth winning on multiple occasions, headlined a plethora of Pay Per Views and gave the wrestling world memorable moments. What more do you want from a certifiable Hall of Famer?
