Introduction

The exciting, enticing, and exhilarating National Football League began its adventure in the vast world of sports in the year of 1920.

And, since then, we have been savoring each and every moment of brilliance served by the 32 teams playing under this division. And, you probably already have an idea about their name or the best players they currently possess. But how much do you know about their history?

Well, if you don’t, then you’ve come to the right place.

In this article, we’re going to talk about all of the 32 NFL teams and assess their performance from 2000 till now. But, now you may ask, what good will the knowledge do for you?

Well, to begin with, it’ll surely help you learn more about the team you currently support, which - let’s be honest - is a must.

And if you’re thinking about getting into the world of betting, you’ll have an idea about the teams that are historically overperformers.

Sounds good, right?

Okay, then, let’s get started with the discussion right away!

Every NFL Team’s Winning Percentage - Ranked!

If you’re considering participating in the parlay bets nfl, only knowing about the winning % of the teams won’t be enough. You must create a full-fledged plan to make the most out of it. However, we’ll not talk about that here. Instead, let’s focus on what we have on our hands.

32. Cleveland Browns.

In all honesty, the Cleveland Browns don’t deserve to fall in the very last position, considering the fighting spirit they’ve been showing since 2020. However, if you look at their history, you won’t be able to find anything else in their repertoire. Hopefully, things will look good for them in the 2022-2023 season in light of their recent performance.

31. Detroit Lions

The 2021-2022 season was a disappointment for the Lions, to say the least. They only won three of their games and lost thirteen. To put this into a proper context, it’s one of their worst ever performances in history. And, yes, they did go 0-16 once too. So, considering everything else, it’s not really surprising to see them in the 31st position on our list.

30. Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 2017-season showcased quite an eminent performance from the Jacksonville Jaguars. To be fair, they were so amazing that many people considered them to be a title contender for the next year. Unfortunately, they couldn’t capitalize on the pace they set for themselves and lost almost every game in the very next year. And that’s why they’re sitting at the 30th position.

The Raider team has recently moved from Oakland to Las Vegas. Hence, hopefully, with the change of scenery, they’ll start performing better than they’ve been doing since 2018. And, in all honesty, the Raiders were quite a strong unit back in the day. Thus, their fans are going to expect something of a decent season this time around.

There was a time when the Washington Football Team was a massive name in the vast world of the NFL. But, due to wrong player selection, subpar coaching, and scandals - the team’s overall performance has gone down massively. And, it’ll keep going down until the authority does something brave. Don’t worry, though. They’ll have their phoenix-like rise again.

Unlike the others on this list, Houston Texans entered the scene in the year of 2002 - and, that too as an expansion franchise. However, that’s literally the only reason why they’re sitting in such a comparatively higher spot. After all, they haven’t really been performing well. But, the team has recently reinforced their squad prominently. So, maybe the good time’s coming?

The New York Jets haven’t been good since the last decade - not at all. According to stats, the team is underperforming massively. And, if they keep doing so, they might fall into the depth of NFL futility pretty soon. As of now, their performance during the early-2000s is protecting their rank on and off the field. But, how much time can they buy their long-lost history?

The Arizona Cardinals have a legend in their hands in Larry Fitzerald. And, it really would be amazing if he could have a Super Bowl ring in his hands to mark up his illustrious career. But with the performance of his team, it’s looking quite least likely right now. Unfortunately, the time’s running out for the player too. So, Arizona must step up their game - by hook or crook.

So, we will certainly be rooting for them this year. Here’s to hoping!

Both the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons were great for the Cincinnati Bengals. They really did take their game to another level and showed quite a lot of confidence. But, due to their failed background and inefficiency during the 2000s, they’re still quite behind everyone in terms of winning percentage. So, let’s see if they can up their game this year or not.

A long time ago, the San Francisco 49ers used to be known as the “mighty reds” of the NFL. In addition, they were also quite feared back then by everyone else as well. Nonetheless, the last two decades haven’t been good enough for them at all. And, the pandemic didn’t really offer them anything in terms of a financial uplift. So, they’re in quite a bit of trouble, TBH.

But, they did enjoy a decent season in the NFL during the 2021-22 edition. The team gelled pretty well together and put in amazing numbers as well. Hopefully, they’ll keep up with the good work this year as well.

The previous season was quite a disastrous one for the Carolina Panthers. They could muster only five wins while losing 12 times in total. And, that’s quite a disgraceful performance on the team’s end, to be honest. However, the way the team is building, it may win a Super Bowl ring sometime soon. But, it’s definitely not looking like it will be in the 2022-23 season.

After going through quite a bit of hardship since 2010, the Miami Dolphins have shaken their off-form at last. And, honestly, all the plaudits go to their coach - Brian Flores. He did quite an excellent job in restoring and reviving the order in the team. And, we think the squad will improve little by little if nurtured properly. But that’s the responsibility of the coach.

As the name implies, the New York Giants were, indeed, the “giants” of the NFL once upon a time. But, like some other teams, the time has taken a toll on them as well. And, the way they did play during the previous season is a prime example of that. Hence, if they want to get back to winning ways again, they’ll need to ditch mediocrity as soon as possible.

The lack of a quality quarterback has severely affected the team composition of the Bears. In truth, the 2021-22 season went all over them due to the same reason. Although they did buy a few quality players, like Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles, recently - they couldn’t solve the riddle at all. So, what do they need to do to improve their position? The wait continues.

Since Matt Ryan joined their ranks, Atlanta Falcons have been decent in gaining more and more points. However, their problem lies in their defense. It looked disorganized almost every time they had played against a better team. And, as it stands, we’ll see the same during this season as well… unless the coach pulls a miracle out of nowhere.

Like Matt Ryan, Philip Rivers hard-carried the Los Angeles Chargers last year. His gigantic performance and ever-so-present persona helped the team in the clutch moments. And, Los Angeles Chargers… well, lackadaisical is the word.

Minnesota Vikings, the underdogs of the National Football League, fall under the 13th stand on our NFL ranking list. However, it’s largely due to how they have performed since 2015. In short, they’ve been excellent whenever they needed to be. But, they’ve had quite a fair share of lows as well. And, inconsistency isn’t good when you’re trying to win a Super Bowl.

However, their team is quite young at this point. So, it certainly is going to be a challenge on their part.
