Rodgers played for the Philadelphia/San Francisco Warriors for eight seasons, where the former Temple Owl was a three-time All-Star. The Point Guard was traded to the Chicago Bulls before their inaugural season, and on the infant team, Rodgers was the clear-cut best player, and it showed with the best statistical season of his career. Rodgers led the NBA in Assists (11.2), and he has 18.0 Points per Game. For his efforts, Rodgers was an All-Star, which would be the last time he received that accolade.
Rodgers was traded four Games into the following season to the Cincinnati Royals. It was a brief run for Rodgers in Chicago, but he gave Bulls fans a reason to attend the games.
