Lenny Wilkens was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame three times: as a coach, as a player, and as a member of the 1992 United States Olympic Dream Team.
This legend began his professional run with the St. Louis Hawks, where the ultra-intelligent Point Guard helped his first team reach the NBA Finals. The Hawks couldn’t get there again, but that was no fault of Wilkens, who was a five-time All-Star with St. Louis, including his final season with the team, where he finished second in MVP voting.
Wilkins would remain a very productive player after a trade to the Seattle SuperSonics.
