Paxton went 12-5 with an ERA just under 3 (2.98). While his ERA in 2018 was a little higher with 3.76, he went 11-6 and had a no-hitter. Paxton was dealt to the New York Yankees afterward, though he returned for 2021. It was short-lived, as Paxton only threw one Game, and was taken out due to elbow soreness. It would lead to season-ending Tommy John Surgery, and Paxton would sign with the Red Sox in the off-season.
As a Mariner, Paxton had a 41-26 record with 617 Strikeouts.
