Tommy John would have better years with the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees, but this should not discount what he did in Chicago from 1965 to 1971.

John was an All-Star in 1968 and would twice lead the American League in Shutouts.  From '66 to '68, John was in the top five in ERA, and he would also be in the top six in WHIP in two of those seasons.  He would go 82-80 with 888 Strikeouts and a 2.95 ERA for the White Sox.
