Mark Henry

Mark Henry
While only 43 years old (as of this writing), Mark Henry’s in ring career is clearly winding down and injuries are catching up to him, hence why he was moved from the futures to this list, but we have to say fifteen years ago we never would have pegged him as a WWE Hall of Fame worthy wrestler.

The former Olympic weightlifter went through a lot of cringe worthy situations in his fist few years in the WWE. After signing a huge contract (10 years for 10 million), he wasn’t performing up to the level as hoped and when he was placed in humiliating situations (like getting oral sex from a tranny or hooking up with an octogenarian) it was believed that this was thrown on to him with the hope that he would quit and forego the contract.

He stayed, and after a decade he would become a world champion, a bad ass and work main events. Had Henry not been so injury prone, it can be assumed that his career would have reached greater heights but considering how low he was, this was an incredible climb.
