Ken Reeves

Ken Reeves
We have no problem that saying that we loved the Ken Reeves character on “The White Shadow”. Usually, the authority figure is not what we enjoy, but Reeves was not a teacher who was belittled by his students, but one who instilled fear and respect and was a former athlete (with the Chicago Bulls). Reeves was involved in every episode of the White Shadow, and as the lead role in the first real sports drama on television, we can easily Coach Ken Reeves as an early entry to the Fictitious Athlete Hall of Fame in our Contributor Division.  Frankly, he probably should.

The Bullet Points:
TV Show Appeared:
The White Shadow (1978-1981)

Actor:
Ken Howard

Role Portrayed:
Head Coach of Carver H.S.

Why you should vote for him:
He was the pivotal role in the first real sports drama on television.

Why you should not vote for him:
It is next to impossible to watch reruns without thinking he would get fired within the first two episodes. Damn, we have become to politically correct!
