A+ A A-

There is a very good chance that BritPop will find a representative in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  There is an even better chance that representative will be Oasis.  Drawing multiple comparisons to the Beatles, Oasis was the leading band of the BritPop movement.  What will work in their favor, as that they were able to conquer America as well, and as much as that should not be the deciding factor, the reality is that a non-American act has to conquer the U.S. market to get into the Hall.  With all of that said, Oasis already has the resume to get inducted and they could accomplish that within a few years of their eligibility year.
