Probably one of our trickiest artists to rank as there can be doubt that their entire catalogue of music was brilliant; however that catalogue was only one album. Blind Faith’s lone album was the birth of the first ultimate “super group” that comprised of Eric Clapton, Ginger Baker, Ric Grech and Steve Winwood (Basically the key components of Cream & Traffic) and it was a landmark effort in Rock and Roll. Artists have gotten in on the strength of one album before, but with all members already in the Hall, we are guessing that Clapton’s fourth induction may not occur.

Blind Faith were brilliant, and they were arguably the world's first supergroup---I mean, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, and Ginger Baker in the same band! Wow! (And yeah, Rick Grech too, who later played with Winwood in Traffic.) But facts are facts---they flamed out after only one album. Sure, The Sex Pistols also flamed out after just one album, but the Pistols left a HUGE mark on Rock music in general. Rock music was never quite the same after The Sex Pistols came and went. Unfortunately, you can't say the same thing for Blind Faith. Still, they made a classic Rock album. Good for them.

Well said, Musicologist999 . The only disagreement I have is that Blind Faith's one and only album really isn't that great. Similarly, the Sex Pistols' Never Mind the Bollocks isn't that great, either
