We here at Notinhalloffame.com are always looking to add new sections to our website.  Last month, we uploaded our top 100 active NFL players and how their Hall of Fame resumes stack up.   We are doing the exact same thing with the NBA. We have what we like to consider a distinct “Holiday Season” at Notinhalloffame.com.  Today is the start, our “Thanksgiving” of sorts, as the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has made their announcement as to their Finalists for the Class of 2020. The American Hockey League Hall of Fame announced the four new members of their Hall of Fame, which will comprise the Class of 2020. The new members are: Robbie Ftorek:  Ftorek debuted on the pro level with the Virginia Wings where he played two years (1972-73 & 1973-74) and scored 125 Points.  Late in his career, he played 18 Games for the New Haven Nighthawks for 18 Games, but would take over as their Head Coach for three years. Je would later lead the Albany River Rats to a Calder Cup win in 1995.  Ftorek is 11thall-time in wins by a coach in the…

The world of Rock and Roll suffered a huge loss today as the legendary drummer, Ginger Baker, passed away at the age of 80.  He had been battling heart issues for years. Considered by many to be one of rock music’s early star drummers, Baker was born in South London, and while much of his skills were self-taught, he did practice under British Jazz star, Phil Seamen.  He would get his first taste of fame when he was a member of the Graham Bond Organisation, a British Jazz/R&B group.  It was there where he would first collaborate with Jack Bruce, the bass player…

The International Boxing Hall of Fame has announced their ballot for the Class of 2020.  It is a particularly loaded ballot, as the Hall has reduced their wait time to three years. The full ballot of the Modern Candidates was not released, but they did announce the 12 new eligible former boxers who have been named to the ballot: They are: Jorge Arce:  64-8-2-1 49 KO, Mexico.  Former WBO-NABO, WBO, WBC, Lineal Light Flyweight, WBC, WBO Super Flyweight and WBO Bantamweight Champion.
