With all due respect to Rock purists, there really is little doubt that at present Jay-Z is the top contender of the 2020 list of Hall of Fame candidates.  The man with many monikers has been one of the most dominate Rap artists of the past ten years and he is beloved by critics, the mainstream, and the streets.

His flow style of Rapping is as praised as it is duplicated.  It appears that everything that Jay-Z touches turns to gold, whether it is musically, personally or in the world of business.  When he wasn’t doing his own album, he was a featured artist on many other hits.  For 20 years and counting, the former Sean Carter has been everywhere, and has been the soundtrack for many people’s lives.  How does he not just walk in to the Hall?
