It is true that Patrik Stefan is in the conversation for the worst number one pick in NHL history, with the relatively weak history of the Atlanta Thrashers/Winnipeg Jets, he still can make it on a list such as this.
Expectations certainly were not met for the Czech forward, but in his 400 games plus as a Thrasher he had 177 Points which had he been a much lower draft pick would have been acceptable.  Perhaps one day he will be known more for falling on a breakaway.
