gold star for USAHOF

48. Peter Stastny

48. Peter Stastny

Peter Stastny was an absolute superstar with the Quebec Nordiques where he averaged 1.42 Points per Game, and was a six-time All-Star.  Sadly, for Stastny the Nordiques were not that good, and the rebuilding team traded the Czech superstar to New Jersey late in the 1989-90 Season.

Stastny was not able to put up the same stats in New Jersey, but he had back-to-back 60 Point seasons for the Devils, and in the 25 Playoff Games he had in New Jersey he had 24 Points. Stastny had 173 Points with a .80 PPG for New Jersey, which is very good.

Stastny was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1998.
