gold star for USAHOF

35. Cory Schneider

35. Cory Schneider

Cory Schneider was a co-winner of the William M. Jennings Trophy with the Vancouver Canucks in 2010/11, but the most Games he played in as a Canuck in a season was 30.  Schneider was traded for a First Round Pick in the 2013 off-season, and he was finally able to be the first string Goalie on an NHL team.

In his first four seasons as a Devil, Schneider was in the top ten in Goals Against Average and was second in Goalie Point Shares in 2014-15.  Schneider was an All-Star the following season and was sixth in Vezina voting.

Hop problems would plague Schneider late in his career, and he was waived in 2020.  With the Devils, Schneider had a record of 113-133-50.
