gold star for USAHOF

5. Tyler Seguin

5. Tyler Seguin

As of this writing, Tyler Seguin has completed ten seasons for the Dallas Stars, which was befitting of a former second overall draft pick.  Dallas didn’t originally draft Seguin as it was a trade from Boston that brought him, but from what he has accomplished thus far in the Lone Star State, chances are that the Bruins would love to have him back.

In Dallas, Seguin’s offensive star (pardon the pun) rose.  In his first season in Dallas, Seguin finished 4th in Points (84) and 5th in Goals with 37, a number he would repeat the following year (and would finish 5th again). Seguin would have a six-year streak where he had least 70 Points in a season, two of which saw him reach 80.

Sadly for Seguin, despite the five appearances to the All-Star Game as a Dallas Star he has only played 7 Playoff Games for the team and it must feel light years away from the Stanley Cup he hoisted in Boston.

Still, this is one hell of a player and his ranking can only go up..  Seguin currently has 615 Points for the Stars in 698 Games.
