47. Chris Drury

Chris Drury was Quebec's third round pick in 1994, but rather than join the organization that drafted him, and he elected to join Boston University, where he would stay for four years.  As a senior, Drury would win the Hobey Baker Award as the nation's top player, and after that, he was ready to join the team who chose him, though they had now relocated to Colorado.

Drury would win the Calder Trophy, with 44 Points.  In the two years that followed, the Center would reach the 65 Point mark, and in 2001, he would help the Avalanche win the Stanley Cup.  In that post-season, he would lead all skaters in Even Strength Goals (9).  He played one more year with Colorado scoring 46 Points, and he would be traded to the Calgary Flames afterward.

Drury scored 222 Points in 314 Games for Colorado.
